Fallen devotion is more than just a story- it's a reflection of existential dread, guilt, and human desire for redemption. As a philosophy nerd, I wanted to explore themes like eternal return, choices, and the fine line between love and obsession,
Nietzsche's philosophy is what inspired me into creating this game, particularly ideologies from Thus Spoke Zarathustra and The Birth of Tragedy.
(This is my first vn ever. I have no coding experience so please be gentle, I'm still learning and this is just a demo.)

Three years have passed since your childhood best friend's death. Three years of trying to move on, of trying to forget the misunderstandings, guilt eating you up to the point you couldn't show up to his funeral.
It all started with nightmares so vivid they left you breathless, then the strange signs, from the feeling of being watched to the weight of a presence you couldn't explain.
Everywhere you turn memories of him cling to you, refusing to let go.
One thing is clear though, Clive is back and something about him has changed;
His love for you, once warm and pure, now feels as sharp as a blade.
Every choice pulls you deeper into the waters of grief, longing and the lengths someone would go for a second chance.
What you see is Clive 'reborn' split between two natures, a personification of the eternal return and the balance-or clash-between the Apollonian and Dionysian spirits.
Remember, some promises can open doors that can never be closed again.

I loved playing this game. The story is interesting with supernatural themes. I enjoyed the philosophical references and the art is chef's kiss.

There's three endings? I've only been able to get the good ending and the curiosity kills the cat bad ending. someone help me get the last one
Not sure if you figured it out already. But to get the other bad ending you need to block the number first, then throw away the note and when it gets to the part saying will you let me in? Press no.
You have to block the number, throw away the paper and don't let him in
The story needs refinement and more tension. I like the concept though. The art is lovely. Looking forward to see where this project goes.

This demo was really good. I felt really immersed into the story with all of the mystery surrounding Clive and Silas. I hav this feeling that this game might be really sad though, maybe only for the ead endings.
I just have to say, the writing and art for this game is so incredible!!! The way I could relate to the mc and I sort of felt like I was in the story was something I haven't really felt while playing visual novels. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE ART, CLIVE IS GORGEOUS. Im looking forward to seeing the full version and keep doing what you're doing <3
